Becoming a governor in a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) offers an exciting and impactful opportunity to contribute to the future of education. The governors on the academy governing bodies at Agora Learning Partnership (ALP) play an essential role in overseeing the strategic direction of our schools, providing both challenge and support to leadership teams and ensuring that resources are used effectively to benefit students.

As part of ALP, you will have the chance to benefit from the training and continuous professional development offered centrally by the trust to support you in your role, to collaborate with both governors in our other schools and senior leadership teams to drive improvements and foster a shared vision for success. Your involvement will directly influence key decisions related to curriculum development, pupil welfare, financial management and school performance.
